People outside of Ireland may not know how bad the healthcare is for PWCF. The life expectancy in the Republic of Ireland is 36. However, if you drive 90 mins from my house to the North Of Ireland (owned by UK) you can add on another 3 years for life expectancy. More impressively, if you live in Sweden, the life expectancy is 46.
The reason behind this is due to the healthcare system.
In Ireland, you can be hard pushed to find any isolated rooms for CF and your put on a different ward with MRSA.
